General Guidelines
The career icon is the designated symbol for your career, and is important because it will forever be associated with your creation.
Whether choosing an icon from the game, or creating a custom icon, make sure it is truly representative of your career, something that really makes sense. For example, a horse icon for a veterinarian career would be very appropriate, while an icon of a tree would not.
It should be unique to your career, so feel free to look around on the web for some interesting icons!
Tip: For most careers we recommend trying to find an icon that fits in with the EA/Maxis career icons, with a simple illustration with a transparent background rather than a photograph.
The Sims 4 Guidelines, apply in addition to the above General ones.
Careers
Make sure to include a unique icon for each career branch, too. Otherwise the game will default to a picture of a fluffy white llama!
The Sims 2 Guidelines, apply in addition to the above General ones.
