At a glance
All lots need at least wall and floor coverings in all rooms, which look good and make sense for the style of the lot. If you add furniture, it should also look good and make sense.

Possible Assessments
At a minimum, lots uploaded to MTS need wall and floor paint applied to all rooms. This wall and floor paint should also match the style of the house and look good.
This lot is partially or fully furnished, but the decoration is not realistic or doesn't fit the style of the lot.
Your lot has wall and floor paint which look good and if there is furniture, that furniture looks good too!
General Guidelines
All lots must be fully built, with wall and floor coverings in all rooms. The wall and floor coverings should match the style of the house, be at least somewhat reasonable for the space (e.g. no puzzle piece carpet in the kitchen, please) and look good.
Beyond this, we strongly encourage you to give lots at least basic furnishings (bed, toilet, shower, sink, fridge, lighting, etc.), though this is not required. If you choose to furnish your lot more fully the furnishings should be consistent with the style of the lot and make functional sense. Putting a toilet in the middle of the living room, for example, would not be appropriate in almost any house.
