Quality Guideline: Unique and Useful
When making a mod, whether it is a tuning mod or a script mod, maybe even an override type of mod, it's always good to check if there is already an existing mod with the same function, especially here on MTS.
Also, check that your mod doesn't repeat functions that are already available through game cheats! For example, if you're sharing a pricing mod or one that unlock items available in buydebug, these add no value since downloaders can already get these objects through money cheats or opening the buydebug menu.
To figure out whether there is already a tuning mod on the site that repeats the same functionality, you can always go to 'search>Search download'. Do make sure when you do this to add one word! So for example, if you're editing the showering time, you might want to use the word 'time' or 'shower' to find something. Otherwise, Google is your friend!
There are also several sites that provide a complete list of cheat codes, so you can see if your mod provides the same function already available through cheats.
There is, of course, an exception for existing mods that are broken or that you are updating. For that, please check out our Updates and remixes Guidelines
This mod seems to just repeat functions that are already possible with game cheats.
Unfortunately, a mod with the same function already exists on MTS.
This mod does not replicate any in-game cheats or mods already found on MTS. Hooray!
