Introduction
Updating your work is always a good thing! However, in some cases where significant changes have been made, it is better to create a new upload and send it to the queue for review, rather than just editing your existing approved upload. This will let MTS moderators ensure that your new content still meets all of the quality standards that downloaders expect.
Cases that are acceptable for updating without going through the queue:
Cases that need to go through the queue rather than updating
All you need to do is click the 'edit' button and let your downloaders know what was being changed by adding a bold heading that says something like:
"Update, 14 Nov 2013, fixed this and that issue"
If you are updating your rar/zip/7z files and you want to keep the existing download count, then give your files exactly the same filename as before and simply upload the new version without removing the old first. Do not remove the old file by clicking "Remove" or you will lose the download count!
If you would like MTS staff to look over your changes to make sure they're okay or maybe just want some feedback, you can post in Creator Issues and point us toward your thread. We'd be happy to check it out!

Want to update an existing upload but not sure how? It's super easy!
Once you do that, you should see a page that looks something like this (but with your own upload, of course!)
From this screen you can edit the description text of your upload.
Want to change the screenshots or attached files? Then head over to the attachments tab.
If you wish to update a previously uploaded archive (zip/rar/7z) file the easiest way is to just click the handy "replace file" button.
